Tesa is a Reiki Master Healer for 15 years and Certified Hypnotherapy Practitioner. She is passionate about natural healing and helping people live their lives to the fullest. She is a member of the International Association of Reiki Professional (IARP) and has studied energy work, healing and meditation. MELANIE MCGUIRE, MA, LMT, CPMT, CEIM
Melanie is a Nationally Certified and Connecticut State Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Parent Educator of Infant Massage. She graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy where she studied Massage Technique and Application, Anatomy & Physiology, Pathology and Ethics to obtain her Massage License and trained with Infant Massage USA to educate parents.
Melanie is an active member of both American Massage Therapy Association and Infant Massage USA and volunteers in her community. In addition to her massage therapy training, Melanie holds a Masters from Fairfield University in psychology and has worked in both the non-profit field as a crisis hotline coordinator/trainer and in the corporate field as a research analyst; this background helps her to relate to her clients and their needs. Her work at the crisis center has helped to form her holistic approach to massage, knowing that the connection between mind, body and spirit can be a strong factor in recovery and the road of life. AMANDA MICHEL, MLD, OTR/L, CEIM
Amanda is a pediatric occupational therapist with 20 years of experience working with children in hospital and outpatient clinic settings as well as in schools and homes. She worked with babies and their families in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for 14 years specializing in feeding and developmentally supportive care. She was an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) from 2006-2011, during which time she specialized in breastfeeding support of families with medically fragile, cleft palate, developmentally delayed, and fussy babies. She is both internationally and nationally certified as an educator of infant massage (CEIM). Her experience in specialty clinics including NICU follow-up, cleft palate, development/autism, and feeding contribute to her ability to serve as a resource for feeding and development at Firefly Family Yoga. Amanda has a passion for working with teen parents and special needs families. |

MEG WHITBECK, MS RDN
Meg Whitbeck MS RDN is a Registered Dietitian with her Bachelors in Biology and Masters in Food & Nutrition. As a Registered Dietitian, Meg is certified to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy, or specialized nutrition therapy that treats or prevents disease. Additionally, Meg provides nutrition education to individuals and families looking to improve eating habits, lose weight, and have better athletic performance. Meg has extensive experience working with individuals newly diagnosed and living with food allergies and intolerances, suffering from IBS and other inflammatory bowel diseases, and with developmental eating challenges, like picky eating. Meg offers workshop-style group classes and individual consults. Kiley Morrison Gottschalk is an Essential Oil Educator and doTERRA Wellness Advocate. She has been working with doTERRA Essential Oils since 2013.
